Store Terms
Please read these terms carefully before using our store services.
1. Battery Availability
Most commonly requested batteries are kept readily available.
If a specific battery is temporarily out of stock, you will be notified within 4 business hours, along with an estimated availability timeframe.
2. Service Location
Battery replacement services are available at our private service location in Mississauga.
Customers are responsible for dropping off their device at the agreed appointment time.
3. Device Condition & Repair Time
For safety reasons, devices should arrive with the battery at a low charge level whenever possible.
If a battery is not adequately discharged, repair times may be extended, and additional fees may apply due to increased safety precautions and labor time.
4. Mobile / On-Site Service
On-site repairs are available within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) for an additional travel fee of $85, which covers travel time and service logistics.
Customers must provide a well-lit, clean, and stable workspace suitable for electronic repairs. For safety and proper ventilation, a nearby opening such as a window or door must be accessible at the work location.
Batengo reserves the right to refuse or discontinue on-site service if conditions are deemed unsafe or unsuitable.
5. Warranty
All third-party replacement batteries include a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty, which covers battery defects only.
Original Apple batteries are covered by Apple’s 90-day warranty and also carry the applicable manufacturer’s warranty.
Warranty coverage does not include physical damage, liquid damage, improper use, normal wear, or issues unrelated to the battery itself.
6. Data Responsibility
Customers are responsible for backing up their data prior to service.
Batengo is not liable for data loss under any circumstances.
7. Pre-Existing Conditions
Batengo is not responsible for pre-existing issues, including but not limited to liquid damage, motherboard faults, display issues, or other hardware failures discovered during or after service.
8. Limitation of Liability
Batengo’s liability is limited to the cost of the service performed.
Under no circumstances shall Batengo be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Right to Refuse Service
Batengo reserves the right to refuse service for devices that are unsafe to repair, heavily damaged, or modified in ways that prevent reliable service.
10. Pricing & Changes
All prices are subject to change without prior notice. Final pricing is confirmed before service begins.
11. Cancellation & No-Show Policy
Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 12 hours’ notice at no charge.
Cancellations made with less than 12 hours’ notice, or failure to attend a scheduled appointment (no-show), may result in a cancellation fee to cover reserved time and preparation.
For on-site/mobile appointments, travel fees may be non-refundable once travel has commenced.
Refund Policy
Payments are due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Due to the nature of repair services and parts procurement, labor fees are non-refundable once service has been performed.
Battery costs are non-refundable once the battery has been installed or ordered on the customer’s behalf.
If a battery is found to be defective within the applicable warranty period, it will be replaced in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty terms. Refunds are not issued for warranty replacements.
Travel fees for on-site service are non-refundable once travel has commenced.
